Occupational Therapy
Graduate Program
Start your Occupational Therapy career with the support and structure to build your confidence from day one.
At Aligned OT, we've developed a structured 6-week Graduate Program to support new Occupational Therapists as they transition from university into paediatric clinical practice.
Rather than stepping straight into a full caseload, you'll have time to observe, learn, practise and gradually build your clinical skills and caseload with support from experienced paediatric OTs.
During your first six weeks, you'll receive:
A gradual caseload build-up
Shadowing and observation opportunities
Joint therapy sessions
Support with assessments, goal setting and intervention planning
Training in clinical documentation and report writing
Guidance working with children, families, schools and preschools
Regular mentoring, feedback and supervision
Access to Aligned OT's structured clinical systems, session planning tools and therapy resources
And the support doesn't finish after six weeks. You'll continue to receive weekly one-on-one supervision, ongoing mentoring and professional development, including a $1,000 annual professional development allowance.
Based in our purpose-designed Penrith clinic, you'll work with an amazing paediatric caseload across both clinic and community settings while becoming part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Your first six weeks are about learning. Your first year is about growing. And we'll be there to support you along the way.
